If you think you might want to work with me, I am available for an initial phone consultation to answer any questions you may have before making an appointment. In general, however, I do believe an in person initial appointment is quite useful and the best way to determine if I will be a good fit for you. I typically see clients Monday through Thursday in the afternoons and evenings. In general I have less flexibility in scheduling evening appointments (higher demand) but I am glad to offer whatever I have available in my schedule.
I am currently not on any insurance panels. I always recommend, however, that you check with your insurance company to see if they cover out-of-network providers. If so, I will give you the paperwork you need to get reimbursed by your insurance company.
I always recommend that clients check with their employer to see if they offer flexible spending plans. If so, that can greatly reduce the cost of therapy, and again, I will provide you with whatever documentation or paperwork you need to use your plan.
I am also available for sessions via Skype for California residents who live outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. Please call me or email me to discuss this option.
